Finding The Right Power Meter For You

Determining the right power meter can be tricky. There are lots of variables to consider like type of power meter, price, and compatibility. At Rotor Bike Components, we pride ourselves on creating products that are not only performance oriented, but also providing options for every rider. Below is a comprehensive guide to our power meter line up.

INspider + Aldhu Carbon

This is Rotor's lightest weight power meter crankset. For those looking to save the maximum weight on their bike, this crankset the is best option. Using Rotor's INspider which is a spider based power meter, riders can still access all the data they need. Like most spider-based power meters, the INspider uses an algorithm to provide data that can also be found on true dual sided power meters (left/right power, torque effectiveness, etc,) while still guaranteeing +/-1.5% accuracy. This power meter is then paired with Rotor's Aldhu Carbon crank arms which utilize a 30mm spindle. The INspider utilizes a 110x4 BCD and can be run with both 1x and 2x chainrings and can be used with Rotor's Offset Axle which has been developed for gravel bikes.

INspider + Aldhu

This crankset utilizes Rotor's INspider and pairs them with Aldhu crank arms. These are aluminum and can be found in more crank length options than Aldhu Carbon. Aldhu crank arms are also available in both 30mm and 24mm spindles. This gives those riding Shimano cranksets the ability to upgrade cranksets without the need to swap bottom brackets. Like most spider-based power meters, the INspider uses an algorithm to provide data that can also be found on true dual sided power meters (left/right power, torque effectiveness, etc,) while still guaranteeing +/-1.5% accuracy. The INspider utilizes a 110x4 BCD and can be run with both 1x and 2x chainrings and can be used with Rotor's Offset Axle which has been developed for gravel bikes.

INspider + Vegast

This crankset utilizes Rotor's INspider and pairs them with Vegast crank arms. These aluminum crank arms are Rotor's entry level option. Available in both 30mm and 24mm spindles, Vegast crank arms provide a more affordable option for the INspider power meter and give those using Shimano the opportunity to upgrade without swapping bottom brackets.

2INpower SL

The 2INpower SL is the lightest dual-sided power meter on the market. This is a true dual-sided power meter which provides riders who are data driven the most reliable data possible. Utilizing a 30mm spindle, the 2INpower SL can be set up with a 110x4 spider or Rotor's Direct Mount chainrings. This is the perfect power meter for weight conscious riders who to extract the most data from their rides.

INpower V3

The INpower V3 is remarkably accurate and reliable for its price. This is a single sided power meter that uses a AA battery. Updated with a new finish to match the finish of Rotor's spider and chainrings, the INpower V3 is the perfect crankset for those who want to upgrade to a power meter without breaking the bank. Measuring power from the left leg, this power meter still boasts a +/-1.5% accuracy rating. The INpower V3 utilizes a 30mm spindle and can be set up with a 110x4 spider or Rotor's Direct Mount Chainrings.
