Our U.S. Headquarters are located in Salt Lake City, Utah where we bring the best of ROTOR Components to those of us that call North America home. Market Support Specialist

ROTOR Bike Components is looking for a Marketing Support Specialist to complete our Salt Lake City team. You will have the opportunity to connect marketing strategies for a global brand to sales initiatives on a national level as you support the Sales Manager in building ROTOR in North America.

Key Responsibilities: 

Build ROTOR brands through eComm & marketing support efforts

  • Update & manage Shopify eComm presence & process orders. 
  • Support D2C & B2B customers with friendly phone presence.
  • Work with Director to coordinate communications campaigns: email, SMS, etc.
  • Be a brand face & advocate at select industry shows & events, anything from a community shop night, to an international trade show. 
  • Work with Director to organize & implement athlete & media plans, product placements.
  • Be a team player as required in a small office: support inside sales, as needed. 

Key Skills

  • 1-3 years working in the bike industry, preferably with a focus on customer service. Bonus if you’ve ridden power meters and/or oval rings.
  • Bias toward action. Strategic thinker who understands their impact within a small team. 
  • Mechanical aptitude to discuss basic bottom bracket interfaces/power meter features, etc.
  • Excellent phone & in-person presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to work without close supervision.
  • Tech savvy with experience in Microsoft Office applications, bonus with Creative Suite & SAP. 
  • Flexibility to travel to events, as needed. Professional appearance. 
  • Patience with difficult people. Ability to collaborate and be a team player. 
  • Desire for the wearing of many hats; mental flexibility is in your nature.
