How to calibrate your ROTOR power meter

Start with the non-drive arm at 6 o'clock. Using your computer, phone app, or head unit, click calibrate. Rotate the cranks two turns forward (driving the rear wheel) and end with the NDS arm back at 6 o'clock. Then click calibrate again. It is often useful to have the bike in a work stand since this will drive the wheel forward; alternatively you can lift the bike slightly off the ground.
Initial calibration numbers vary. After calibrating, you should see a successful calibration number between -200 and +200.
If your final calibration number is outside the -200 to +200 range, refer to the steps that correspond to your power meter below.

INpower troubleshooting

Check the AA battery to make sure that it still has a charge.
Hard reset: Take a new battery and place it in backwards (positive contact first) and install/close the cap. Wait 1 minute, remove the battery and install it as normal. If you have the drive-side arm removed you should see a flashing green light that will let you know that the crankset is awake.
If the problem persists, use the desktop app to check that you have the latest firmware. More info is available below, as well as software and firmware downloads.

2INpower/INspider troubleshooting

Check to make sure that the power meter is charged. Apply pressure to the pedals to wake it up, and you should see a light flashing on the charging port. You will have to rotate the charging port cover to see the light.
If the power meter is charged and you are still having issues, use the desktop app to check that you have the latest firmware. More info is available below, as well as software and firmware downloads.

INpower Software

ROTOR power meters can be registered and supported through the global INpower Website, however many US based users have had difficulty with it. We've included direct links to the relevant downloads here to ease the process. While the Windows installation is straightforward, the Mac install requires a few extra steps, and the Mac Software Installation Guide should be read first.
